Visiting the Museum of the City of New York during the Museum Mile Festival

This is a short video of a trip to one of my favorite museums ever, the Museum of the City of New York (or MCNY). In this vlog, I visited on June 14th, 2016 during the Museum Mile Festival, which shuts down 5th avenue and highlights the many incredible museums that line the street that stay open late with free admission. The Museum Mile Festival is an annual event in New York City, so be sure to keep an eye out for it next spring.

The Museum of the City of New York is located at 5th avenue and 104th street in Manhattan, NY. Their permanent exhibits are wonderful, and their rotating exhibits are always fresh and keep me coming back often. In the vlog below, MCNY was showcasing some items that they would feature in NY at it’s Core, which is their now-permanent exhibit that takes up the whole first floor. It is fascinating, and really worth the trip!
